Natural Organic Additives For The Health Of Animals & Plants

SOIL INOCULANTS

WHAT ARE THEY?

For hundreds of years scientific studies have shown that soil probiotics/inoculants (mycorrhizas) provide many benefits to plant growth, soil condition and the environment, but its only  recently become  available in commercially available easy to use powder or liquid.

Soil Inoculants

These inoculants help plants to grow, the tiny spores germinate when in DIRECT contact with plants roots, this allows the roots to grow long filaments (hyphae) which increases the plants ability to take up nutrients and water.

Available in powder and liquid forms, sold by the kilo or litre

The best way of administering the almighty natural sheep drench is described below. We have now mixed the kelp and apple cider vinegar together with the other ingredients to make this easier for the use on the farm. We must stress that it is far better to use LOW dose rates regularly, rather than HIGH dose rates less often.
As the various oils in this product rises to the top of the container and tends to separate over time, it is vital that the mixture is mixed thoroughly with every use. Please keep cool and in a dark place, well sealed. This product is non toxic, non corrosive, all natural and organic.

We recommend that your sheep are drenched at least 3 to 4 times a year, if you are going to continue with your commercial drench this is ok, but please use our drench first, and then the commercial drench. Drench all sheep between 30 to 20 ml per head and half this dose for lambs these rates seem to be the most effective rate currently across Australia. Please note, drenching does not replace a good normal balanced diet.

We use a variety of oils etc to make our drenches, Rice bran oil is a naturally occurring source of antioxidants including tocopherols and gamma-oryzanol etc, a plant sterol that acts as a muscle builder and conditioner. It also contains good levels of squalene a contributor to good foot health.

Canola oil is high in omega 9 and contains a significant source of omega 3 essential fatty acids, and omega 6. Blended with these oils are Adams apple cider vinegar which aids digestion and absorption, promoting a healthy coat, it gives the drench its flavour and is also high in potassium. Seaweed the worlds most nutritious plant is then added, this adds trace elements to further promote health and well being. To this we add our fresh aloe Vera juice and natural sea mineral product which contains over 70 minerals. Our drench is used widely across the world by small hobby farmers with just a few sheep, to much larger concerns with a few thousand sheep.

You will love how easy our drench is to use
It has a shelf life of 5 + years if kept cool and in the dark
It is totally natural and organic
It can be used alone or in combination with other products It is cost effective
It gives proven results which include but are not limited too

  1. Less deaths
  2. Better lambing rates, more twins
  3. Improved overall condition
  4. Quicker growth
  5. More energy and stronger wool

SEA MINERALS AS FERTILISER

When sea minerals serve as plant food, the plants and soil take up more minerals and trace elements than they would get from any other type of fertilizer, including organic fertilizer. All of the earth’s elements, both known and unknown, can be found in sea water. Scientists have so far been able to identify 92 elements in sea water and 84 in unrefined sea salt.

Thus it makes perfect sense to use diluted sea minerals on the 30% land mass on which we live. Contrary to a healthy sea environment, there is more disease, aging, shortening of life spans and cell degeneration on land. By working with dilutions which are so extreme you can hardly taste the salt, there will be no salinisation of the plants and soil, so the minerals can be used to their full advantage to help crops develop, grow and build up resistance.

Disease is acidification. Sea minerals alkalize and mineralise the soil, which makes for a healthy soil and soil life. Insects, fungi and other pathogens only clean up weaker crops and will not touch ocean-grown crops or the crops will show remarkable resistance to these micro-organisms. Weeds often thrive on slightly acidic soils and they will also stay away. Insecticides, fungicides and herbicides are then no longer needed. These chemicals have a highly acidic effect and will only deprive the soil and soil life of vital nutrients because they don’t work with nature but against it. The same is true for artificial fertilizer and non-composted organic fertilizer. Sea minerals are a natural alternative which allows you to work with the building blocks of life and in perfect harmony with nature.

Sea Minerals & Grass

No other crop is more receptive to sea minerals than grass. Grass grows in all places and at all times, it grows on everything and nothing. It is the predominant species of green plant on the 30% land mass we live on and it is a true survivor. Give grass the pure life force of sea minerals and it will take up every single mineral. Other plants make their own selection from the ‘menu’ served up by sea minerals, but grass loves them all. It is often thought that many plants, most notably grass, cannot grow without nitrogen. Though nitrogen promotes rapid growth, an excess of nitrogen does not feed the plants nor does it promote real health.

Good food means good health, it is the fuel that keeps the engine running smoothly. Sea minerals act as nutrients because of their alkalizing and mineralizing nature, keeping disease and acidification at bay. The plant’s natural immune system is boosted in this way. Plants need minerals. They will get their nitrogen in other ways, just like they do their carbon and sulphur, as these naturally occur in the atmosphere (air, rainwater). These are life-giving substances and so are sea minerals.

Sea minerals not only promote fast growth, but above all healthy growth. In no other crop is this more visible than grass. Even if the difference between ocean-grown grass and grass fertilized in other ways is not immediately visible, any grazing animal will immediately select ocean-grown grass when given the choice, because the animal instinctively knows ocean-grown grass has more nutritional value. Ocean-grown grass contains a balanced complex of minerals and trace elements as well as large amounts of chlorophyll. This is good for the grass and the grazer. The milk and meat of these animals is good for us humans. Thus a cycle is established which literally starts at the root.

SWISH FISH FERTILISER

Our natural organic swish fish fertiliser – Suitable for all lawns and plants. Produces unbelievable results very quickly without chemicals. With or without fish oil.

A soil food rather than a plant food, it contains many small amounts of the trace elements and fish proteins which enables the soil to unlock nutrients already present in the soil and makes them more readily available to the plant, this enables the plant to grow on strongly with vigour, resist pests and disease.

  • It helps to increase biological activity and nutrient release in the soil
  • Increase earthworm activity
  • Improves the efficiency of other fertilisers and helps to rapidly breakdown crop residues

Available and sold as a liquid by the litre, this liquid fertilizer is suitable for all living plants including trees, shrubs, roses, natives, lawns and crops

Here Is A Story That Will Make You Green With Envy

Last spring two neighbours re-seeded their lawns. Now it is summer, one has a beautiful, lush thick green lawn as perfect as the best golf course in the country—a lawn to be truly proud of.

His neighbour however has a completely different lawn, one that is covered in brown patches; with a very uneven texture that contained nut and onion grass and weeds fighting for territory through the odd blade of grass.

Both neighbours prepared their soils; both used the same type of grass seed.
Both neighbours regularly watered their lawns well,
So what made the difference?
Our natural organic WILD SWISH FISH FERTILIZER, that was all!

If you are looking into growing an organic garden, fish fertiliser is one of the best natural organic fertilisers available on the planet. Nutrient rich fish has been used as a fertiliser for ages; organically grown flowers will produce the most gorgeous buds and blooms you have ever seen.

Our fish fertiliser concentrate is formulated with potassium and phosphorus – these are especially beneficial for growing healthy fruit and vegetables. The nutrients in the fish help to control diseases found in plants, an organic fertiliser increases winter hardness in indoor plants. It helps to provide protection from the elements of heat and frost stress.

The Native American Indians used fish for an environment friendly fertilising technique they practiced hundreds of years ago. Now if you are thinking this has got to stink, the idea is not to throw smelly fish on the ground. The fish are reduced to a concentrated liquid formula, blended with other compounds and then spread into Australian soils. Fish fertiliser is biologically safe for people to handle, and will not contaminate living areas, the low odour formula can be used in organic gardening for all types of lawns and plants, studies show that using fish raises nutrient levels to bring new life to overworked soils.

Many farmers are concerned about the impact on chemical fertisied soils its runoffs into water catchments etc, fish fertiliser does not contaminate our important water supply or drinking water, whereas chemical usage damages our lakes and rivers, so that they become irreparable.

Many of the chemicals used contain heavy metals, these are absorbed by the plant and eventually eaten by us humans, they destroy microorganisms and earthworms within our soils, where as fish fertiliser containing fish oil has the opposite effect. Everyone on earth needs to start using organic natural products when gardening for our future generations, fish fertiliser is most helpful for a plant to grow healthy roots and it supplies necessary nutrients to the plants leaves. On a gentler life cycle, it encourages soil microorganisms to thrive, which in turn improves the content in your soil; as a result your garden will provide you with a bountiful crop. Fish fertilisers are safe for all plants and help bring out the natural sweetness of fruit and vegetables.

MAKE YOUR OWN FISH FERTILISER

Collect up fish waste, these should include all species of fish and include the head, tail, bones, flesh and guts— they can be obtained from your local fishmonger.
Put the material into a large container i.e. 200lt drum and just cover with enough of the very best water you can source.
Cover the contents with sawdust, this helps reduce the smell and flies from the fermenting fish——–sawdust is readily available from your local sawmill.
Leave outside in the weather for at least a couple of weeks, process can be speeded up and improved by adding digestients, enzymes etc, a stabilizer should be added it you wish to store your fertilizer for any length of time.
Over time the contents will breakdown and you are ready to strain it through a sieve, discard the waste material and bottle the liquid.
To use, mix the liquid with sufficient water as required to make a weak tea solution, to this you may like to add a little natural soap, this acts as a wetting agent, so the fish fertiliser will stick to the foliage of the plant and soil better. Be careful that you dilute the liquid down enough; otherwise you may burn your plants.
If this sounds a bit of a hassle and smelly you can order our SWISH FISH FERTILISER

from us over the telephone, or through our website and we will be very happy to help.

WHAT IS IT?

Seaweed is a loose term covering a wide range of marine algae and plants. They are usually divided into groups of red, green or brown algae. They have a wide range of uses, as food, medicine, and fertilizer. To live, seaweeds need seawater or brackish, salty water.

Seaweed is also known as “kelp” the deeper the seaweed grows in the water, the darker the leaves. We tend to offer Tasmanian bull kelp ,considered one of the best seaweeds in the world. We have this available in liquids, meals, flakes and powders, to suit most applications.

Our product is certified organic for use in Australia
Available by the litre in liquid form or kilo in the dry form.

NATURAL ORGANIC WEEDKILLER

For years now the EU and UK have been talking of banning harmful weedkillers containing glyph sate, because of the damage they cause to our soils, environment and waterways.
Alternatives are now available that are truly a natural alternative, for weeds that are a very big problem. It’s not a perfect solution but it does go a very long way in the right direction to solving this problem.

This amazing combination of natural organic food grade ingredients is fast acting; the acetic acid contained within the product helps to dehydrate the weeds by burning them to death.

Significant results can often be seen within hours of application. Several applications may be necessary on tough persistent weeds. Best applied during the heat of the day, allow to dry and soak in, 24 hours of dry weather is required after application. A J Products recommends that all users wear suitable protective gear whist using this product, especially safety spectacles.

Available in easy to use concentrated liquid form, sold by the litre.
